- Our cat sitting service means that rather than taking your pets to a cattery we visit your pets in their own home. This is most suitable for cats in particular because cats hate leaving their own territory, so with cat sitting this means they’re not disrupted and are much happier and relaxed at home.
- We will go through your cat care regime (instructions)and ensure we stick to their normal routine ensuring they have the right food and any special diet that they may have is followed at all times.
- Administer medication (not injections).
- We can visit your pets once or twice a day depending on what your requirements are, you may require 2 visits due to any medication require.
- Hassle free cat sitting service.There’s no need to travel to a cattery to check that it’s suitable. After contacting Walkies & Cuddles, and before we start looking after your pets, one of our carers will visit you to discuss your detailed requirements face to face approx time (1 - 2 Hours) This enables you to meet us, and for us to find out exactly what you and your pets would like us to do in your absence.

Not only do you avoid the rush of taking them to the cattery before and after your trip but we can also keep a check on your house while you’re away too. Don't worry, at Walkies and Cuddles Cats one of our team members will go to your home, where your cat is most comfortable and feed, refresh their water and fuss them for the duration of their visits.
Need more than one feed/visit? Walkies and Cuddles are happy to visit your pet more than once per day, whatever your cat needs, we will provide it for them, whether it be food or just extra fuss to medication or even just to be let in/out the house. We are always happy to help.
There aren’t many cats that like being left with the neighbours or taken on a long and stressful car journey to the cattery, for that matter.
In fact, cats are happiest when they’re surrounded by familiar sights, sounds and smells. So our cat feeding service is the ideal way for your cat to carry on living at home when you’re on holiday or away on business.
Your cat will love our experienced and professional cat feeders, we will feed them, play with them, and give them the love and attention they needs while you are away. This is a VIP service for your cat that you, and your cat will love!
We will ensure that bowls are cleaned and fresh water is available. We will change your cat's litter tray and ensure that any waste is removed from your home, check your home to ensure your cat hasn't left any unwelcome 'gifts' anywhere, play with your cat (if they're in a playful mood), cuddle your cat (if they're in need of some love and attention) and most importantly, we will update you via WhatsApp by providing photos and feedback of our time with your cat(s).
Our team members are happy to perform light domestic duties such as collecting the mail, watering your plants, or pulling the blinds down or up and opening and closing your curtains.
PLEASE NOTE:
All waste will be removed from your home apart from cardboard that can be put into your recycle bins.
If you require us to administer medication to your cat(s) please fill out a permission to administer medication form.

Cat Sitting
For cats, their owner going out is not a problem; they’re used to it, and they know that the boss will be back soon.
But bring out your suitcase, and your cat thinks “Oh dear – this doesn’t look good…” Cats, particularly, worry when suitcases appear because they associate them with a longer separation and – worse – being taken to catteries.
Placing pets in catteries can cause unnecessary stress and suffering.
Although most domestic cats appear to be very independent, they are territorial animals.
They become very attached to their home environment and are naturally frightened of unfamiliar places and smells. Also most cats enjoy and benefit from human company (interacting with people on their own terms, of course!). Cats are intelligent animals and they need both mental and physical stimulation – play is an important aspect of their behaviour.
If they are removed from their territory and their human companions, cats can suffer significant “separation stress”. Signs of this can include loss of appetite, spraying, scratching, hiding and excessive meowing.
