Nick is founder of Walkies & Cuddles. He set up this business in 2016.

Hannah helps to run the business with Nick. She does cat feeding and dog walking also. Hannah is very passionate about animals, she owns her own dog of 6 years (sprocker spaniel), who she trained as a puppy and got bronze in obedience training. She is undergoing a pet psychology course. Hannah has a certificate in Canine First Aid Level 2.

Gill has always loved animals and as a child she has had dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, budgerigars and a tortoise. Her first weekend job while she was still at school was working in stables feeding horses, mucking them out and cleaning tackle and was paid with riding lessons. Her first pet cat was a stray who chose to move in, he was lovely and she called him Thornton because he looked like toffee. Gill has a black cockapoo called Darcey and a black & white cat called Tilly. Tilly came from a rescue centre and she is very timid. When she brought her home she spent the first few weeks living under a coffee table covered in a cloth and would only come out to feed when there was no one in the room. Eventually she learned to trust Gill and she can now fuss her and she sleeps on the end of her bed at night.

Gill used to be a very keen runner and loved being outdoors no matter what the weather.  Dog walking is kind of a transition from that, making it the perfect job for her. She gets a lot of pleasure seeing how happy the dogs are to see her and she loves that they all have their own personalities which makes every walk different. 

Emma has previously worked in kennels for 15 years before she decided to join our team. She has a cat of her own and she has previously owned a Terrier Cross, a Sussex Spaniel, birds, rabbits, fish and newts.

Emma has a national diploma in animal management which she completed in 2005. Emma has also got a Canine First Aid Certificate Level 2.

​

Emma has an allotment which she likes to spend time doing in her spare time when she is not with the animals with her children. On it she has a bug hotel, a mini pond, log piles as well as flowers to attract wildlife.

Amy grew up in Littleover and attended Derby Moor Community Sports College. From there she went on to study Childcare for 3 years at Derby College. From this she worked as a private nanny for 10 years working with some wonderful families. Amy went part time in 2018 due to the children going to school. Amy has grown up with both Staffordshire Bull Terriers and cats and she knew working with furry creatures was her next step to fill up the spare time she has whilst the children are at school.

Angela is a keen gardener and an allotment plot holder. She is volunteer at the allotment community shop and she helps out on fundraising advents when she is not dog walking.

Angela enjoys home cooking, eighties music and socialising in her spare time.

Angela has a four year old Bichon Frise who she loves and sees him as her world. Angela loves being outdoors.
